I'm so confused...

I have a Pod XT and I have line 6 monkey and it keeps giving me this message saying "Important: Your hardware has not yet been activated to allow all the features you purchased. Close this message and then click the Activate Features button in Monkey's Optional Add-ons tab to complete activation."
And so I do that and it tries to connect to the line 6 server and then says programming hardware and then when i restart the pod xt it says "Warning: the transaction verification failed."
I want to use Pod Farm and everything but it won't recognize my Pod XT because of this problem. It's like it won't install it or whatever. What should I do???
If you haven't done so, I recommend completely uninstalling all Line 6 software from your computer, then re-downloading and installing the latest Monkey software from our website.
Please make sure to disconnect all other USB devices from the computer (except for a mouse and keyboard) while troubleshooting this issue. Completely remove ANY USB hubs, even if not in use and test the PODxt on all of the USB ports on your computer.
Try activating the features again on every port.

What?? I don't see how that would do anything...but I'll try it...
Okay I tried all that and it's still not working...Now what..? I would really like to use this stuff..
Hello,
Something is preventing communication to our server from your computer. So what Hugo mentioned earlier makes sense.
What are the detailed specs of your computer? Do you have any other USB devices connected? If so, what are they?
Do you have any pop up blockers or antivirus software running?
Can you post a screenshot of the error message you are getting? Thanks.

PowerPC G5 Mac dual core processor with 6.5 GB of ram and a 250 GB internal hard drive with a 160 GB external hard drive connected via firewire. The only other USB device I have connected is my mbox 2 audio interface. I don't have any popup blockers or anitivirus software running (it's a Mac). I can post a screenshot of the error message when I get home as i am at work right now.
Okay here is the screenshot of when it gives me the message...
Something is preventing connection to our servers to authorize your model packs. Have you tried switching USB ports? I know that on our Macbook here that sometimes works. The MBP we have here won't even power our MBox on the left port. Mac USB ports can be really flaky sometimes.
Line6Miller
Yeah I've tried different ones. I could try only hooking up the podxt and the keyboard and nothing else maybe. I think that may be the only thing I haven't tried...
Hello,
I can tell you based on my experience with our G5 PPC here that the front ports on that thing are super flaky. Our front USB ports don't even power up our MBox. I almost always have to use the back ports.
Also, I know this sounds stupid, but have you rebooted your computer lately. I have to ask so don't be insulted. ![]()
Line6Miller
I've tried all the different back ports and even tried using a powered usb hub and nothing worked. And yes I've rebooted it haha
Hrm. This is very strange. Have you been able to do any other updates in Line 6 Monkey? I mean like driver updates etc? Have you tried reinstalling your drivers?
You absolutely have nothing else plugged into this machine?
What ISP do you have?
What Monkey version are you using? Have you tried reinstalling it?
Line6Miller
Yeah it will let me update things it just won't let me activate them so that I can actually use them. Yes I've tried reinstalling my drivers twice but i guess i can do it again... The only thing I have plugged into the machine (USB wise) is the podxt, the mbox 2 and the keyboard. I'm using the latest version of monkey and yes I've tried reinstalling it a couple times. I'll have to get back to you on the isp thing...
Okay now it's giving me this message...
And my ISP is
That looks like a break down in USB connectivity between the computer and your device. Let's try a thorough uninstall. Unplug your Line 6 device, go to HD>Applications>Line 6>Drivers and remove your device drivers. After that, drag the entire Line6 folder to the trash.
Once you have done that, download the latest version of Gearbox, plug in your device, and then install it.
One thing that has worked for me in the past was to leave the device plugged in even after the installer program has told me to unplug it so you may want to try that.
I'd also suggest installing the device on a different USB port as well.

I am having the same problem.

,
Do you have any pop up blockers or antivirus software running?
No. Using Firefox and turned off the block pop ups option. I also tried using Internet Explorer with pop up blocker turned off.

What do you mean by this? just press the cancel button when prompted? Please elaborate.
I also get a caution (yellow triangle with exclamation mark) sign next to USB firmware on the updates page. It says the installed version is 1.06 and the newest is 1.12. When I update I am told Pod XT update successful but when i return to the programme it is the same as before (Yellow triangle, version 1.06)
Please let me know if you figure out how to solve this cause I have tried everything and I would really love to be able to use the stuff I payed for!!
At this point the only thing I can really suggest is to try it on another computer just to make sure the device itself is not faulty. I don't think it is but it's worth a check just to be thorough.
I still think that you guys have something on your computers that are preventing a solid connection with our servers through Monkey. The hard part is finding out what it is.
Line6Miller
I have the exact same problem.POD XT as well.
When I disable the virus scanner it doesn't make any difference.
What else could there possibly be?
If anyone has any solution please post it, this is a very frustrating experience.
According to the top of the page, this question has been answered.
It is definitely NOT answered...lol
just tried installing my Pod xt i've had for a while..
I'm having the EXACT same problem, tried everything listed here too..
i'm really dissapointed with this and gutted... I wanted some tones!!
I am in exacly the same boat as the above posters. I have tried all of the above but still no luck.
Any ideas anyone ???

I also have the same problem with my KB37. Gearbox works great, but POD Farm isn't and I get the same messages as the other gentlemen here.
