So your POD got blank screen(orange) and doesnt turn on?........

Same for me and i see lots of ppl with that problem


I did search and found out lots of ppl with this problem and even after reflashing in safe mode or what ever problem remains the same

 

 

I believe it had something to do with the latest firmware/modelpacks/flash memory update files

 

So we need Line6 to fix this problem cause its just doesnt seems to be a problem on our end

 

 

 

*one thing i found out, with this problem, if i turn the pod off and on for like 50 times it will turn on eventualy, the screen will remain orange but u can work with it with gearbox and play

 

 

 

If u have this problem Please Post here and we try to get all info in one discussion and hopfuly get a fixed file or something from line 6

 

state your model and how this problem occured

    My PODxt Live is currently not working and just shows the orange blank screen.  I've had this POD for about two years and it just recently started having this problem.  One day I was playing my guitar through my POD and was listening through a set headphones when the screen went blank and started making a popping white noise sound.  So I then turned it off and then turned it back on again to see a blank screen; then after about 5 minutes of just leaving the blank screen on the screen showed "Invalid Code Error 06".  Also, every now and again I will turn it back on and have received messages like "Safe Mode B SRAM Test..."/"Safe Mode B SRAM Test Failed", and "Invaild Code Error 00".  What can I do to fix this?

    YO TAMBIEN TENGO EL MISMO PROBLEMA CON MI POD ... HAY KE HACER ALGO POR KE EL PROBLEMA ES DE FABRICA

      I went to my gig last night and my Pod X3 Live started with a blank lit up screen and no sound. All other buttons lit up correctly, could change patches/banks, tap tempo etc, but a full blank screen and no sound.

      I thought it could be adapter problem so I used the Line 6 adapter of the other guitarist in the band, but nth changed.

      I tried to start the unit in safe mode, it apparently started in Safe Mode (no other pedals lit up this time), but since the screen remained blank I could do NTH!!! So I had to play the whole pop/rock band gig with a guitar directly into PA as the lead player of the band. If you play one gig like that, you'll know what I suffered!

      When I got home, I connected X3 to my PC and Monkey recognizes the device, so does Gearbox. I can change the patches in Gearbox, but still no sound.

      And what is more funny Monkey doesn't show the firmware info and the driver details in its "update" page.

      I tried to record into Ableton Live. There is such an extremely low level and distorted sound. It is clear that the device can change patches, I could hear it after I normalized the recorded tracks.

      I also tried reinstalling the Monkey and the device drivers, but nth changed.

      So this is my 3rd Line 6 Device that leaves me in frustration in the middle of gig on stage. I experienced the same with my Variax 700 guitar and also with my bass, both with the very common "suddenly some strings go softer or even silent than the others" problem.

      So how angry should I be and what is your solution to my Pod X3L problem?

      PS: Yes, there is an authorized dealer/service here in Turkey, trying to repair my Variax 700 guitar for 6 months with the help of you guys in USA.

    This issue can be atributed to a Failing Power Supply, incorrect Voltage at the Source, using a DC Power Supply, a Firmware issue. or even a Faulty circuit in the LCD itself....

     

     

    So unless you can eliminate all the Other posibilities to Only one, then this thread is purely speculative. You need to have the Pod looked at to offer a concrete reason to it´s failure.

    Tengo una "bass pod xt live" desde hace un año, solo la he utilizado en 4 oportunidades no mas de 20 min,  2 veces recien me la regalaron y 2 veces hace una semana, el problema es que en la 2 vez que la utilice, es decir antes de ayer a los 10min de estar tocando la pedalera se reinicio sola y luego solo quedo la pantalla en amarillo, no aparece nada ni letras nada! solo la pantalla en amarillo!!! en verdad agradeceria ayuda pues con tan poco uso y ahora que puedo dedicarle tiempo suced esto y no se que hacer... la tristeza de tener que esperar para usar el equipo y ahora no poder hacerlo porque algo paso me tiene desconcertado, preocupado y musicalmente frustrado!!!! por favor pido sincera ayuda, soy nuevo en el foro y necesito muchga orientacion y ayuda con este pod.     FYI this might be a problem with the soldering at the connection for the power supply.  I've taken my pod apart because of this problem.  it seems like there's still a problem with the RAM but it is affected by the lose connection.  I ruled out my power supply since I bought a new one.  I think I'm just gonna take mine to a certified shop let them fiddle with it instead of breaking my head in two.  I am a mechanic not an electrician or a designer so I really have no idea about the design part of it.

     

    word of advise.  don't even try. it's complicated enough to use it, imagine fixing.  and buy a carrying case.  the pedal probably got messed up from someone banging it, or stepping on the power supply connector

     

    y para los que hablan espanol, llevenlo a arreglar con alguien que sepa.  quiza te sale un poco carito, pero llevo meses con este rollo y no hay solucion al menos que te lo arreglen.  tiene que ser un corto o una falla con la memoria RAM.  si la SRAM fallo, entonces necesita servicio.
