Podxt and FBV express - how to program it?

I can't seem to find anywhere that explains in simple English how to set up the four switches and the expression pedal on the FBV express MKII. I have it plugged into the PodXT and it works, but I can't seem to figure out how to change the presets on the four buttons or how to go from volume to wah to tuner. The onwers manual has nop useful informaiton in it. The other manuls that I downloaded also have infomraiton that appears to be unrealted to the simple information that I need.

Any help please?

    The A, B, C & D buttons select channels  A, B, C & D.  The pedal is a volume pedal and becomes a wah when you click the wha switch at the toe, this can take a lot of pressure before it activates though.

    The lit  A, B, C & D is your tap tempo switch.  For example, if channel A is selected and lit then tapping it will set the tempo of your delay, etc.  Holding the lit channel switch for a couple of seconds will activate the tuner.

    To get the pedal to tweak a parameter on an effect instead of being a wah, you need to change that in the patch settings on the POD.  This is explained in the POD manual.

    That's about it really.

        See the correct and helpful buttons on replies?  If you click on those you'll make stars appear.

        You cannot use the FBV express to jump from one bank to another.  You can only select A, B, C or D within the current bank on the POD.  You need to organise your patches so that the 4 settings you want are all in the same bank.  You do this on the POD.

        If you want a foot controller with a bank up and bank down button to access all 128 patches from the foot controller, then you need the FBV Shortboard.

        Cheers,

        Re: Podxt and FBV express - how to program it?

        This is the exact question I need answered.  I've been looking for weeks and I haven't found one response, in plain English, as to how to change the A, B, C and D to settings that you actually want?  I have the FBV express attached to the Spider Jam amp and have no clue how to do this.  You would think it would be pretty simple to explain, but all the talk about "channels" and "banks" just gets more confusing.  Isn't there a way to explain this apparently simple process?

        Thank you in advance!

        Re: Podxt and FBV express - how to program it?

        Thanks for the help!

        But, how do I change the A,B C D buttons to what I want them to be.

        For example right now the footswitch buttons are as follows;

        button A = 13A BritJ-800, button B = 13B Run Like Hell, button C = 13C You Really Got Me, button D = 13DFunk49.

        How can I make the buttons as follows;

        button A 12A Plexi Variac, button B 10B Cliffs Of Dover, button C 11C Nowhere Man, button D 9D Won't Get Fooled

        Must the presets all be relabeled to a certain (group/channel/program)?  1-17 A-D?

        If that is the case then how do you change from one program (1-17) to the next with the footswitch?

        Sorry, this question above is the question that i need answered in plain English.  Thanks!
