Not sure where to post this, so I'll try here.

I have a UX1using POD Farm 1.11.  Most the time I use it as a plug in for Abelton Live 8.  I spend several hours of work a night recording, splicing and such using abelton, but as soon as I remove the UX1 all my recordings lose their tone.  What I mean to say is, my tone is set and I've recorded many tracks with a certain tone but as soon as remove the UX1 the tone reverts back to just the standard guitar.  Am I going to have to buy one of these ILok devices so that I can work away from Home Studio?  Is there a way around this?  Thanks
