Foot Switch For toneport UX2

Is there a way to add a foot switch to my toneport UX2 in order to start and stop recording in Sony Acid or other recording software?

    Yes, you just plug one into one of the footswitch plugs. You'll need to set it it up in the UX2's MIDI setup, then work out how to assign it in your software but it should be doable. If it won't work, it is a limitation of the software, not of your UX2.
