What to I do?
Please provide more info. What, exactly are you doing and at what point does it fail? I expect you have the BT connected to your computer via USB - what's happening after that? It should appear to your computer as a removeable USB drive, from which you can navigate different folders and drag/drop files to your computer. Is that not happening?
Silverhead,
Thanks for response. Have been able to fumble my way through downloads of guitar music. Now, it is very challenging to get the files to windows to be burned to a CD. Windows Media Player states there are errors in file. However, If I drag the file to "Now Playing" on WMP. Then I can select "burn last played" and then it will burn. Way too many steps to produce a simple CD for teaching purposes. They do download and play fine on the sound cards player (Creative Audigy2zs). But to my knowledge, that is only a player not a burner. Any simple step by step instructions on how to go through this process more efficiently would be most welcome. Thanks again.

I haven't really looked into this but I know that BacTrack has several options re: sample rate and bit depth (e.g CD-Audio is 44.1kHz and 16 bit). Try using the BackTrack Setup Utility to set your rate/depth to these settings. That may make the resulting.WAV files more easily understood by WMP. Just a hunch.
Hello,
As mentioned, make sure to check the BackTrack Utility software and double check to see if your WAV files are set to record at 44.1k/16 bit. If they are them drag them onto your PC desktop from the BackTrack drive and right click on them. Open your media player and drag them over to that software. At that point, your media software should allow you to burn the WAV file. Some media players force you to create a play list before they will allow you to burn.

Line6Miller,
Thanks for info... Have done all that you have said. I sent you a direct email response. I am assuming you are a line 6 employee or consultant by your name. If so, please check the email. I can not drag the files. I can't rename the files. I have to select "open files" on BT screen. Then I can double click on the files. This then opens them w/ the creative player software. Then I can choose burn the track. This will send the file to WMP. The player will not burn the track due to unnamed errors. However, If I drag the files to the play list. Then I can play them and also click on to " burn last played". Then finally I have a CD. If you do work for line 6, do you guys have a telephone? If not, get one! Thanks in advance for any additional help you may offer.

One last thing you should try is performing a hard reset on the BT. Please read the following FAQ to learn how to do that. If you still have problems then feel free to give us a call so we can continue to work with you.

Line6Miller,
Thanks for the contact today. Not all issues resolved. But, I have not had the time to play and work w/ the recorder in the past couple of days. Hopefully, this weekend will allow me some quite time to work on this project. I'll stay in touch if I can not work through this on my own.
