Problems installing UX2

I'm trying to install the toneport UX2. When I install the POD farm at the end of the installation it pops up with this message "System extension cannot be used. the system extension/system/library/extension Line6 audio text was installed improperly" It says the programme was installed properly and asks me to restart the computer. When I restart the computer I can't find any way or link to then connect the hardware. If I connect the hardware via the USB port the screen stalls and tells me to restart the computer. What can I do?

Hi,
We'll need more specifics about your computer hardware and operating system software version. Without this information, we'd be giving guess-based answers.
I'm pretty sure you're on a Mac. However, what is the OSX version? If you're running on the new Snow Leopard system, please be aware that at this time our software is not yet supported on that environment. There is a Beta Driver available... please visit our Snow Leopard User Group for more info here (if you fall into this category of user): http://line6.com/community/groups/mac-osx-snow-leopard-user-group

Hi
Thanks for your reply. The Mac is one the new Mac books. The OSX version I got with it is 10.6.1
I have managed to get the toneport to work by downloading The Line6 Audio midi driver 4.2.4 dmg.
Though they're are two problems with it.
1. If I remove the USB cable connecting the Hardware to take the computer elsewhere I can't just reconnect using the USB, because it causes another crash, so I have to install the driver again.
2. I can't use the POD Farm in Logic. Logic says that it unexpectedly quit whilst using this plug in reccomends that I get an update. Which I have done, but it still makes no difference.
I will try installing the Beta Driver you mentioned and see if it makes any difference.
Thanks again
Hello,
We have a beta driver (4.2.5) that should resolve those issues. You can download it on our software downloads page. Just make sure to check the Beta box when you do your search.
Let me know if this helps.

I have the same problem, I'll try the beta-thing
Hi,
I now installed the beta-driver and there is no more error at the end of the installation,
but I still have the crash the moment I connect the UX2 by USB.
