No Sound from PC

When I connect the UX-2 and my guitar and run POD Farm, I can see the level indicators on-screen indicating that there is a signal. Although other audio items work through the speakers (Windows sounds, etc.), I get no real-time sound from the instrument. I have checked volume levels, mute, etc. on the PC without any success. Am I supposed to hear the instrument sounds via the PC Speakers?
Thanks,
Chris
Hi,
No... sorry: the audio of the processed amp model/effect (and system sounds, if you select the UX2 to be the system audio I/O soundcard) will occur at the output of the UX2's headphones or Analog Outs 1 & 2. This is by design (it's a 24-Bit USB audio interface!).
Please verify there is sound at the headphone jack or Analog Outs 1 & 2.

Sorry for my ignorance as I'm learning about this unit and thanks for the help. I do have one more question / issue which I've not had time to research. When I first installed the software and plugged by instrument up to the UX2, the physical signal Level meters were working properly with the signal of the instrument. However, after the last POD Farm update pulled down by Monkey, I got a warning that the device drivers trying to be installed were older than what I had installed. I chose not to overwrite the newer drivers. Now, the physical signal Level meters are not moving. Can you point me in the right direction on how I should troubleshoot or resolve the issue?
Thanks in advance,
Chris
Hi,
Sorry for not getting back to you sooner... in the scenario you last described, unplug the USB device. Re-plug it in after waiting a few seconds. If necessary, trying a different physical USB port on the computer is a good idea. Are the "Clip" LED's flashing back and forth?
