any rumors out there of a successor to the x3?

im thinking of buying something, but am in no rush. if line6 is got something new due relatively soon i would prefer to wait. the x3 has been around for almost 3 years now? how long was the xt around before the x3 showed up?

The timeline was something like this:

PODxt - Oct. '02
PODxt Pro - May '03
PODxt Live - Sep. '04
POD X3 & X3 Live - Sep. '07
POD X3 Pro - Mar. '08
