Starting a Jam

Hello
Well I said I like to get a jam up for the weekend and I have had a couple of goes through the week but, I have to say my playing has been quite bad and I'm being honest not modest here. Never the less though I am posting the backing track and will keep at it.
I tried a few and have settled on a slower track for now and hopefully a little different from the ones already posted. Its still a 12 bar blues an in the Key of D major and one of the Line 6 ones so a little more guitar on there than normal for a backing track but it does give the piece a ready made feel to work on.
I'm going to keep at it when time hopefully a few more will join in maybe see what we get over the next week say and all have a go at mixing the posted tracks the week after?

I am unable to download this file... all that arrives is 820 bytes of error message ![]()
And, since its an L6 backing track, I assume you can't reproduce the song in a real blues key life F or G ? [just a thought].
Hello
Here's the link to the forum where the file is also located for download.
and the link to the list of Line 6 tracks
As for another key would need just the drums I guess and we would have to do the rest. Something to work towards and a route I would like to take tracks compiled by group members with maybe the exception of the drums. Unless anyone is knocking out drum tracks that is. I quite like A and B for the blues and would tend to lean towards the minor scales.
And finally my first go in a long while at playing and mixing is also attached. As the playing improves I'll post separate guitar tracks both wet and dry. Just thought I'd better get something up to get the ball rolling for now. Podxt settings used for the sound is the default Brit J-800 with Modulation turned on the for the first 24 bars. Then the same again with the wah pedal used on the FBV shortboard for next 24 bars after that I leave it to the Line 6 guys.
