Custom preset changes tone with different laptop

I changed my laptop, and copied all the custom tones I had created. Now the same patches sound different. is there any processing done by the laptop that is responsible for deterioration of sound quality ?.... this is very strange. Need help ASAP as I am in themiddle of recording an album.

    Hi,

We'll need some more specific info to help answer your question correctly:

      1. What sort of audio device is being used for handling in/outs?

      2. What program did you create your custom tones with?

As a general principle, the audio interface/soundcard device handles the signal conversion. Of course, the model of powered monitor speakers/headphones that you're using factor into the equation, too. I've used different headphones with the same KB37, for example and the sound quality of the tones changed due to the frequency response change in headphones being used.

      Let us know.

      Regards,

      L6Perry
