Variax 300 convertion

Can anyone tell me please if it is possible to convert a Variax 300 to a stratocaster i.e. transfer variax electrics etc. to a suitably modified strat body? Does anyone know of anyone who offers this service at all?

    http://www.warmoth.com/Guitar/Line6/Line6.aspx

this  is  the  web  address   for   the  variax  body   replacement   ant  warmoth.   this  is  a direct  replacement  body  made  specificly  for  variax. all you  have  to do  is  transfer  the  parts.  also  if you dont  wish  to use  the  300 neck  a  fender  neck  fits  right  in.   just  be  sure  before  you disconnect   any  wires  to mark  the  plugs  directionaly    ( a line  from  plug  to socket on  one  side) with a perminant  marker.  some  of  the  plugs  can be  reversed  by  mistake.  i know  i did  it.

its  simple  with  this  body  the  300  is  a  drop in  unit  .  most  is  attatched  to the  pick guard  . you  unplug  the   gridge   pcb   and  the  output  jacks  and  transfer  the  whole  thing.

standard  strat   body  is  a  bit  thin  for  this.  warmoth   is  made  to the  right  size.

check  out  this  area. alot  of  your   questions  mat  be  answered  here.

take  a look  at the  attatched  photos.

be  sure  to take  a  beasurment  from the  nut  to  the   front  of  the  bridge  plate   use  a  good  measuring  tape  and  do it   on  both  sides.  this  will  help  with  proper  placement  of  it . you  bolt  on the  neck  then  make  two small pencil  marks  from  the  face  of  the  nut  on the  body   and  that  will be  where  the  edge  of  the  bridge  plate  goes. for the  side   to side  i used  a steel  rule  and  put  it  up against  the  side  of  the  neck on one  side  made  a  mark  then the  same  on the   other. they  may  be  wider  than  the  bridge  plate    so  you make  the  difference  equal  on  both  sides.

another  measurment  you  may  want to take  is  from  the  nut to  the  end  of  each saddle(pickup). this  will  help you get  very  close  for  intonation. saddle  height  may  have  to be  ajusted  depending  on  the  neck   and   pocket   fit.(height)
