PODXT FVB Shortboard wont switch banks??

Hi, I have a pod xt and a fvb shortboard. When I plug in the fvb shortboard the board lights up to channel one, but will only switch the banks DOWN and when it does lets say switch to bank 34 it starts blinking and I cant change from patch 1  to 2 and so on. the fx loop doesnt light up either... but the fx switches seem to still turn the FX on and off.

if you try  to switch the banks up nothing....if you switch down it just starts blinking the channels.

The unit hasnt been dropped or banged around at all in fact it has a case ...

 

I have switched RJ45 cables ...no diffrence

I have used a 2 channel footswitch in place of the fvb shortboard ...it  changes the banks up and down fine.

 

Is there some kind of calibration I can reset or have any of you heard about an issue like this.

    It sounds like there is a problem with the Shortboard.  Can you change banks and channels on the PODxt itself without the FBV shortboard connected?

       

      Also, what was the 2 button pedal you tested?  Was it an FBV2 pedal?

       

      I recommend taking both the PODxt and Shortboard to a Line 6 Dealer and test the PODxt with another shortboard and test the shortboard on another PODxt to isolate the problem.

       

      Once you have isolated where the problem lies, you will need to take it to an authorized service center:

      A: Yes the pod works fine by Itself.

      A: Yes it was a FBV2 I tested that changed channels fine.

      I think the problem lies in the shortboard too. I also switche rj45 cable ...stil F'd up.
