Buzzing and noise with midi on M13

Hi guys,

 

I love my M13 and use it with my Marshall JVM410H where I use midi to change channels.  The only problem now is that I am getting a quite loud buzzing when I connect both units with a midi cable.  I am getting this mainly on OD1/2 on the Marshall but these channels do have an extra gain stage.

 

Any advice?
