UX 2 Help

I recently bought the UX2 and I'm having some difficulty recording. Actually I'm not able to record anything at all. I'm using cool edit pro 2.0 at the moment. I am able to use pod farm and get sound through the headphones and output signals but when I try and record I have sound but no signal registering in my recording software. Thats is to say I have the sounds and tones I'm using in pod farm but nothing in my recording software as I record or when I try and playback the recording. It seems like this is just a simple error in settings but I haven't been able to fix the problem. Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks,

Seth R

    Hi,

How do you have your setup routed? Guitar into UX2 input, USB into computer, POD Farm software up and running with your amp of choice dialed in?

Then, did you select the UX2 as the audio device in your recording program preferences?

I think the key is the setup in your recording program. The UX2 output shouldn't be different, since it's the same exact output whether you're recording the signal or not. However, the playback of the recorded signal is handled by the software program. If there's additional effects in the recording program activated, those could be affecting your playback (EQ, reverb, delays, etc.). Most recording programs have their own set of effects as well.

      Let us know.

      Regards,

      L6Perry
