UX2 Tone Port with Pod Farm and Logic 9.01

I have a couple issues with the UX2 on my Imac.

Monkey tells me that i have all the current drivers etc.

1) Although it works for the most part,

When opening Pod Farm as a stand alone, I always have to choose the UX2 if I start Pod Farm where it used to be able to find it.

2) If possible, How can i get the UX2 to record two inputs at the same time, on seperate tracks in logic 9 ?

for example: Mic 1 and Inst 1      (Gear box seemed to offer this, although I never tried it)

3) Is it possible yet to choose the UX2 inputs within the logic as the host app?

Thanks, Todd

    Hello,

      1. In POD Farm go to File>Preferences and select your device for the "Launch POD Farm Using" drop down menu and then click on Apply.

      2. In POD Farm make sure to create a Dual Tone and then set the source select for each tone.

      3. I am not entirely sure I understand your 3rd question. Can you elaborate? Thanks.

    Hi,

The answer to #3 is a Logic setup answer, which unfortunately we don't have. Your account indicates that you have a POD Farm Plug-In license installed in the UX2, which allows you to run the AU Plug-In effect within Logic.

The limitations of the UX2 is such that you can only really ever have 2 simultaneous inputs, but POD Farm needs to be open to select the input source(s) and the Mixer page in POD Farm Standalone shows you the routing option.

There still maybe a setup or two in the software settings of Logic you'll need to know how to do to make it happen. For what's it's worth, here's a screenshot doc on how to route two different input sources with a UX2 into GarageBand: http://line6.com/community/docs/DOC-4401

      Regards,
