Riffworks still not working...

OK I did what needed to be done. Deleted, downloaded, and reinstalled. Now when I try to save any changes I get this error.

 

Runtime error...

 

Program...Works\Riffworks line6 edition.exe

 

This application has requested the runtime to terminate it in an unusual way.

Please contact the applications support.

 

I also deleted and reinstalled Gearbox. Now some of the tones that came with it are gone as well.

 

I was able to find missing drum sessions. All previous recordings are safe.

 

It seems I am stuk in a bind...

    Hello,

       

      A run time error usually means that there is somethign wrong on your operating system side.

       

      What version of Riffworks are you trying to launch? From your profile it looks like you are running Vista.

       

      Can you post a screenshot of the error message you are getting?

       

      Also, you may be better served if you ask your question on the Sonoma Wireworks support forums as the developers of Riffworks hang out there and may be able to troubleshoot your issue faster.

      Yep its Vista :~(, but I never had these problems befroe. There were other problems but they usually went away. It appears to only happen when its going to save something I recorded, If go in a mix and do minor changes without recording it askes me where to save. (which it never did before) But I tried to add a simple Bass line and it does this.

       

      Also all the Bass tones are for crap now. The tones that came with gearbox are gone. And the Bass tones that are there now are real bad.

    How does Gearbox function on it's own when you do not have Riffworks launched? Do you still get that run time error?

       

      Does it sound OK? To me, this issue sounds more like it has something to do with Vista then the actual applications.
