pocket pod install problems windows xp

When I connect my pocket pod windows says found new hardware line 6 but then says it can't install.

Also I have installed line 6 monkey but when it starts up it does not list pocket pod in the hardware list.

How do I resolve?

Thanks

      Hello,

Pocketpod uses "class compliant" drivers, so you will want to make sure your version of XP is "up to date".  You should also check the following document on USB connections to make sure there are no problems, as well as optimizing your computer to work with Line 6 gear.  See the following links for more info:

Please let us know if you need further assistance, or close out the ticket as “answered” if your situation has been resolved.

Please make sure to disconnect all other USB devices from the computer (except for a mouse and keyboard) while troubleshooting this issue. Completely remove ANY USB hubs, even if not in use and test the PODxt on all of the USB ports on your computer.

Line 6 Monkey will not give Pocket POD as an option, but the Pocket POD will be picked up by Monkey once it makes the connection.

If the problem persists, you should isolate the problem by trying on a different computer.

      Regards,
