Somebody have a draw ??
Thanks
Thierry
Try the thread right below this one.
what is it exactly that your trying to connect the telecaster 3 way switch or the pickup output?
You're on the right track there. Nice work on that tele!
that came out great! reminds me of some old gibson acoustics but better
Are you doing the finishing? That looks great! I love that color for a burst. What paint? Stew-mac?
It's a local Luthier in Cergy Pontoise (France). I have showed him a telecaster 30th anniversary for exemple.
That's cool. I think you'll be happy with it.
Your advice : White or black pickguard ???
I see your dilemna. They both look totally awesome. The black looks good because of the black burst on the edge, but the white looks good because of the contrast with the general darkness of the finish that gives it a classic look. I'm a big help, eh?
that guitar looks too good to put either over its finish . what i would do is to have the same guy make you up a matching wood pick guard with a very thin clear plastic top to match the guitar. it could be done with veneer on the back of the clear plastic. i wouldnt want anything hiding that finish.
IMO : White, definitely white. Looks a lot more "telecasterish" ![]()
Just finish for christmas !!
now thats what i call a christmas present.
Wow, looks really great : a very sober transplant, respectful of the original shape and hardware. A very beautiful gift you just made to yourself ![]()
Great job!Absolutly beautiful!Merry Christmas!!
A classy looking number there! Happy with it?
That is so beautiful Thierry. Great job. I hope mine comes out half as nice!
