    Depends on the headphones honestly. I have a set of Audio Technica headphones that I got for around $150 and they work amazingly with it and don't color the sound at all(what I hear as I play is what I hear in my recordings). Headphones specifically for recording music will likely yield similar results, while headphones for commercial/personal listening will likely have other effects in the EQ

    Okay, I can make my POD go through my speakers via headphones port. I have a 1/4" and on the end, you can stick a 3.5mm into it so it will work with my headphones and computer speakers. For my computer speakers or headphones should I use the 2 ports on top of the pod or just use the headphones one? Is it better quality or what?

    People, i want some headphones for recording, homeexersicing purposes. donna know what will be best for making presets, accurate for frequancy and so on. what studio headphones do you suggest. under 120 bucks

    I dare not use headphones. Or at least until I have gone though and adjusted every patch. the volume variation I have is HUGE between patches and I fear I may accidentally pop my eardrums though cans.

    the one thing i miss about a real tube amp with a real speaker is the musical feedback. is there anyway to simulate this when using headphones?

    Yes, headphones are plugged into the POD itself.  I mean there is no sound from PC to POD to headphones.

    When using headphones, make sure your HD500 Output is set to Studio.
