Question regarding inputs

Hi

I've recieved the M20d yesterday and think it is a very intresting product but I can't seem to find how to use my laptop as an input using the usb cable right now I can record al 20 tracks and it works fine but when I want to use the stagesource speakers as monitors my only option is to use the 1/4 inch input to a dual jack. Does anybody know how to do this? I'm using: a Macbook pro [with Logic 9], garageband is even posible. a m20d, 2 stagesource speakers, I've got acces to plenty of cables etc.

    Re: Question regarding inputs

    Hi,

You could use the analog inputs on the M20d or use USB audio. When USB audio is streamed from the computer to the M20d the stereo out from the come computer comes in to the M20d at channel 17/18, the aux input. In order to hear anything a stage icon, the laptop for example, needs to be assigned to the aux input (17/18).

If you want to record to the SD card please use the analog inputs since sd card and usb recording do not work at the same time. If you record to sd card you do not need to bring a computer.
