Interested in selling TCDDK Effects you've coded?

If you have, or are planning to develop effects for the TCDDK the code or binaries for which you'd be interested in selling drop me a line. I'm looking for beta testers for a new TCDDK focused site. We need to get the TCDDK community kick-started! Email below. Cheers.

    Hi,

I also agree that we need a way to sell our effect.

I think the principal advantage will not be the money, but the chance to put on the market alternative effect, which will maybe influence the evolution of music...

I evaluate a lot of possibilities, and the one who seems the best for an independant develloper is ebay.

The infrastructure of ebay, is well established and offers enough warranties. With this, it becomes possible to buy empty tonecore modules, to program them and  to resell them on ebay.

Of course, this is a commercial activity. So, depending on the country you live, you will have to take legal measure to avoid problems.

Moreover, we need also a kind of internet portal where it will be possible to reference every custom modules with additionnal information about the way to get them.

Maybe line6 should create it,... if a tone core is sold, they will earn money too...

How close is this to launching?  I have an effect done that isn't really in a releasable state, but I might focus on it more if your little store is launching soon.

      Hi,

They are a lot of ways to sell the programs you are developing with the TCDDK.

I finally choose mine ant I'm posting it. So maybe it will be useful for other people.

For security reasons, I will sell modules rather than source code or binary files.

I will sell them via a website. This one is under construction and will be on internet during August.

I solve administrative problems and will sell them legally.

In Belgium, it exists a special association for artists which allows them to sell their creations without they need to create their own business.

So this solution is easy and inexpensive. When you sell something, the association will calculate the taxes you have to pay to your country and will give you your salary like if you were working for a company.

I will also propose other service on the website:

      - Tailor made effect with TCDDK.

      - Sound engineering services.
