Can I use a Boss ML-2 pedal with my amp?

Hi, I hope this is the right catagory for my question. I have a Line 6 Spider lll 15 watt amp and a Boss ML-2 Pedal. I got the pedal 2 years ago back when I had a, well cheap no name amp. I got the Line 6 amp last christmas. I know it's already got distortion tones built in. But I was just curious if I could plug the pedal in and use it to. I have not tried it because I don't really want to screw my amp up because I love it that's why I am asking this question. Any help would be great, Thanks!

    Hi

You mess up anything by using your Boss...

Just be sure to NOT use the OD on the Spider...otherwise it will be too much...

Flatten your EQ's and FX until your Boss sounds good to you...it may take a little time...but there is a balance to be found that will work for you..

    Hello,

+1 to Bluestone's suggestion. If you want to use your Boss pedal in front of your map then you'll have better results by dialing in a cleaner tone on the Spider and staying away from the on board OD the amp has to offer.
