HELP: Line 6 Monkey Error / Can't connect to server!

I cannot connect to the Line 6 server thru Monkey
CODE 8002006 - Unable to resolve host name to an address
I am unable to get it to check for updates, but my X3L is recognized just fine
- I've disabled everything - AV/Pop up blockers, etc
- Did not have this problem until today
I know others have had this problem.... what do I do?
I uninstalled Monkey and then reinstalled downloading the latest
Someone out there from Line 6 please help:
What is going on with connecting to the Line 6 servers from Monkey? Still having issues....
What can I do or is there an ongoing issue?
The issue is most likely with your computer as thousands of people successfully connect to Monkey each day.
Check to make sure all of your anti-virus and pop up blocking software as well as your Windows Firewall is turned off.
Also, make sure that the date and time on your computer are set correctly. Try removing extra USB devices and try connecting to different ports on your PC.
Also, check with your ISP to make sure they did not change any settings on their server side.

Miller,
Good points - I did all those and still am having the same error message?
Monkey identifies the X3L no problem, but I still can't connect to the server?
Uninstalled Monket and reinstalled 1.27 - STILL MESSED UP MONKEY!
THE UPDATES TAB IN MONKEY HAS SOME STRANGE INFO:
Monkey - installed 1.27 / newest 1.26
Flash memory - installed 1.21 / newest 1.15
Drivers - installed 3.4.3.8 / newest 3.4.2.9
I am ready to give up! Nothing has changed with my computer or internet provider.
????????????????????????????????????????
Miller,
Not sure what happened, but all of a sudden its working fine now. I uninstalled a USPS shipping assistant software from my computer and now it works. Hmmm.... not sure if that was the conflict.... but something for the Line 6 bug files
thanks
