Need HELP!!! connect Flextone II 60w to 4x12??

Ok heres the deal. I picked up a Crate 4x12 slm cab for almost nothing in new condition. Is there a way I can connect this to my Flextone II. Its not a plus or an XL. Just a basic 60W FT II. Or is it time to just pick up a FT II head? I like the heads but there still kinda out of my budget right now.

Oh. the cab is 8 ohm by the way.

    I would suggest that you go to Home Depot and get yourself a single gang junction box...Then get yourself a cover plate and mount a 1/4" speaker jack on the plate...If you go to PartsExpress, you can buy these ready made...run the speaker wires into the box and solder them to the Jack...

     

    On thing you could do is make a box to mount the amp in and make a head...If you search the Flextone & Spider Valve forums you will see where folks have done just that...I also have mod document that you could follow in your quest to add the cabinet...I did this to my Flextone III XL because the EXT speaker jack on that amp kills the internal speakers...I will post that link shortly...
