PODxt, Riffworks L6 Edition & Pod Farm Compatability

Hi,
I have a PODxt and have just downloaded POD farm taking advantage of the september offer. I have been running riffowrks with my PODxt and have had some fun with that. I though I would be able to run riffowrks with my PODxt and use the POD farm as a plugin. I would liek to use this so that I can use the bass pre amps that come with POD farm and the mic preamps. I know PODfarm will not run stabndalone with the PODxt but I thought it would work as a plug in for riffworks.
Can I run Riffworks with POD farm as a plug in while using PODxt as my interface?
I have had a look around the forum but can;t seem to find a definite answer.
I would really appreciate and help with this I'm stuck.

Yes that should work. Looking at your account you have already installed the RW2 & POD Farm licenses, so that is good. Now you need to download and install BOTH POD Farm & Riffworks 2 Line 6 Edition. Be sure that you do get Riffworks 2, as that is what your license key is for. You can get both from the 'downloads' link above.
Thanks for the reply. I already have riffworks and pod farm installed. Line 6 Mokey tells me that everything is up to date. When I launch Riff works 2 line 6 edition in the effects section where I should have an option for amp I don't have one. Any idea why this would be?
Fraser,
Actually, the Riffworks 3 Line 6 Edition software is NOT compatible with software plug-in. Meaning you cannot instantiate the POD Farm plug-in in the Riffworks software.

You can use POD Farm or Gearbox to record directly into the software, but cannot use the VST plug-ins in the Line 6 Edition.
In your case, you can only use the Gearbox software to record into the Riffworks software.
