MUDDY/DISTORTION ON SPIDER IV CLEAN CHANNELS

I just purchased a Spider IV 120 Combo. I am now getting a muddy/distorted tone out of the clean channels I've programmed. It sounds great for a little while and then just sounds awful. Help Thanks, Tony

Hi Tony,

What is the system software on your Spider IV amplifier? (Should appear in the screen upon power up for a few seconds).

  Im having the same problem with my spider IV 150. It has happened before but then it went away for a while. Unfortunately the problem is back. What would cause this?

    Do you have the Spider Infusion 2.0 firmware installed on your Spider IV? Have you tried a factory reset? Is it possible that the gain knob is moving when you are playing (at loud volume?) causing the problem?

same problem but on spider III 120 watt.please..help me fgs
