2 months ago i asked guitar center if i can do something about my amp cause when ever i turn it on all that shows up is the led rectangle box with 8 led black boxes, and yes i did buy the amp from guitar center with no warranty but they had told me that line6 has a 1 year warranty, so 2 months later guitar center calls me and says that the problem that my amp has (8 led boxes) cannot be repaired for free cause the guarrenty dosent cover for that problem and they had said that line6 is charging me 125 bucks to fix the amp, but people on this line6 support site said the problem that my amp has is a
common issue and that all the customer has to do is ship it to line6 and they will fix it for free but then again guitar center says the companys charge is 125$, is there any other way i can do to get it fixed besides paying that much to repair my amp?
Hi,
Let's set the record straight.
Line 6 offers a manufacturer's Service Warranty for parts and labor costs to be covered by us... within the 1st year from the date of purchase on your store receipt for a new product purchase.
You'll need to verify the date of purchase from your Guitar Center receipt. If you're still within the first year of that purchase date we will cover any repair costs; make a copy of your Guitar Center purchase receipt and take your amp to the nearest Authorized Line 6 Service Center to you by using this search engine: http://line6.com/support/serviceCenters/
If you're beyond the first year, then you are out of warranty and will be responsible for repair and parts charges. Again, everything is based on the purchase date of your new product receipt.

yeah they know that i had bought the amp on january of 2009 so therefore the warranty should still be in effect and i also took it to the nearest authorized line6 service center and they had told me that they dont fix line6 anymore cause the work inside the line6 amps was to complicated for them so now what do i do
You are going to have to select a different service center from that link to get your hardware serviced.
Also, which service center told you that, because we should know which of our service centers is denying work to our customers.

hey guys so i got in contact with that service ceneter where my amp is being held at right now but they are saying that the problem with the amp was that it has a busted speaker or some small chip has been blown up the amp so now theyre saying that theyre still gonna charge me cause they say that the guarantee that you guys offer for 1 year after you have bought a line6 product dosent cover ALL of the amp defects, so they told me the service center will contact line6 to see how much this "new part" for the amp would cost me, so is it true? does line6 warranty not cover all defects of an amp?
