Can i use my line 6 podXT as a MIDI> USB Interface for my keyboard?

I have a line 6 podXT with MIDI In and I have a keyboard with MIDI out. If I connect my keyboard to the PodXT with MIDI and then with USB to my PC, can i use my keyboard with VST software like Pro-35?
