No sound No Display

I bought this used Vetta in January, I dont get time to play a lot maybe once every two weeks but during my minimal playing my Vetta has suffered twice with no sound no display, first time I had to initialize and load OS and presets again several times before getting it to work again.

When it happened first time, I thought my kids are responsible for something cause they like to press lots of buttons on the amp when I am playing, so now both kids are banned from touching the amp at all, but today it happened again and I am wondering is this pointing  to some underlying problem, maybe I got a malfunctioning Vetta to begin with?

Any help/advice will really help.

Thanks

Try reflashing it again.  If that works then it appears that the flash memory may not be holding.  This may be due to the flash memory battery getting old and tired.

There is a battery on the main board that is used to keep the Vetta's memory in tact.  If the battery dies, the Vetta starts forgetting who it is what it's doing.

If the reflashing it doesn't help at all then it may be a deeper issue but the back up battery may still be the culprit.

I agree with Crusty. Try reinstalling the flash a few more times. If oyu are unsuccessful then you should get the unit to your nearest authorized service center for repair.

Thanks for the detailed explanation here. I'm glad you were able to figure out what the issue was.

If your issue has been resolved may we now close this thread?
