podfarm as a plugin

hi, i recently had to format my HDD and reinstall all my music software. I was wondering how I go about using podfarm as a plugin again as I paid my license a while back but now dont seem to have the option to use podfarm as a plugin anymore after the reinstall
any advice will be great
So I read a few posts on here to se if I could find an answer, there were a few helpful ideas but none seem to have worked.
I've tried typing "refresh" (without the " "s) in the activation windows, that looked like it was doing something and it said Transaction Complete, but Podfarm didnt show up in Cubase
I found my licence key and copied and pasted that into the activation windows, that failed and asked me to deactivate my antivirus, so I did and it failed again.
I even tried transferring it back to the same device, and uninstalling and reinstalling it.
None of these moves have got it to show up in Cubase where I'm trying to use it as a plugin
Any help will be great as I have loads of songs I need to record
Not sure if Im missing something here but I've tried all the stuff that seems obvious n nothing's working
Help!
Hi,
Your account indicates that you have a single registered device: a TonePort UX1 which was registered back in December of 2007.
You purchased a POD Farm Plug-In license on January 12, 2009. Initially it was installed into your UX1 device.
Then, on April 27th the license was removed off the UX1 and transferred into a TonePort UX2 that is registered to someone else. Does this accurately trace the history of your license key purchase and installation?
(You'll need to have the UX2 physically connected to your computer to use the Plug-In authorization, because the license in inside that device, not your registered UX1).

thats correct yes, but ive reinstalled the podfarm software and drivers etc for the UX2 and cannot now get it to show up in cubase as a plugin. Im just wondering how I do this.
I have paid for the license so theres no issues there, just not sure what Im missing. any advice?
It was workin perfectly as a plugin before the format but now cant seem to get it to work as a plugin. the standalone works fine
Hello,
What version of Cubase are you using? What is the OS you are using? Did you try working with another DAW or computer to see if that works?
Please let us know if you need further assistance, or close out the ticket as “answered” if your situation has been resolved.
Hello,
It's been a couple of days since we've heard from you. We're going to assume your question has been answered and close this thread. If you still have questions please feel free to open a new question with us and we will answer your questions accordingly. Thanks!
maybe you just need to put the vst pluigin in the right folder - Steinberg or Cubase VST Plugin folder - or whatever has been defined as valid Plugin folder in the Cubase software.
I recognised that per default the POD farm is installed into a place where it did not make sence for me (also a Cubase user)
hey, cheers for the answers there folks, I've not tried using it with another DAW but I know it works, it just stopped working after I had to format my HDD n reinstall everything. I cant remember what I did the first time round see.
Im running Windows XP SP3 and using Cubase SX3
As far as the DLL file goes, I seem to remember it used to automatically install dlls in the Cubase SX VSTs folder, but Im gonna check now.....
Right, it was in the Podfarm folder instead, I must have installed Podfarm before Cubase this time round as I don't remember being asked where I wanted the DLL file to go like I was last time, when I installed Podfarm AFTER Cubase.
I've since moved it and am going to restart my system and see if it pops up in Cubase now.
Yup, you were right. Cos I'd installed PodFarm before Cubase the DLL file needed moving to the VST folder in cubase
Gold start for you Sir!
