Wireless Guitar System - Father Christmas is coming!

Ok guys - I am looking at getting a wirelss guitar system - I think the Line 6 G30 is the right one, although more than I think Father Christmas can afford!
Couple of questions:
1. Is the G30 worth the money? (around £240)
2. If so, why?
Having done some research, I came across reference to the G50 & G90.
Some more questions:
1. When is the G50 coming out in the UK?
2. Apart from 200 ft range, what difference compared with the G30?
3. How much will it retail at?
I would appreciate your thoughts and advice.
Cheers guys

Well it sounds better than anything on the market at any price, it is immune from RF or EMI interference ever making static noise or any other audio noise in your system and you can use it anywhere in the world without a license.
G50 does not yet have an official release date or price so I can't answer that one.
Thanks - here's the $64k one - should I wait? I don't want to spend, then wish I hadn't as there's a better one at a relatively marginal increase.....
It's not a must have, it's a want so I could wait......

Hello,
IMO the G30 is worth every penny. It's very rugged and built well, has a great range and is extremely easy to use.
I can't comment on any details regarding future wireless products but if you ask me, the G30 is pretty sweet.
Please let me know if this answer has been helpful.

Thank you Line6Miller - I am still unclear on whether the G50 is worth waiting for, but I know the G30 will meet my needs. Let's see what the jolly man brings me!

I have not used the G30 and have not even seen the G50. I do however have 2 XDR95 units. Years ago I bought the bets wireless I ever heard called the xwire. That company was bought out by another manufacturer but then some people inviolved in xwire started x2 and eventually were bought out by Line6. There is no better wireless at that pricepoint and I am not sure at any price point.
The only major downside with the x2 stuff is the crappy cable used to attach the xmitter to guitar. It is a 1/4 to mini cable and even though it "locks" it has been known to be iffy and generate noise if you do not treat the xmitter gingerly while playing.
The new G30 appears to use regular 1/4 sockets and should not have this problem.
Can you provide links to the G50 or G90 mentioned?
I am dying to replace my 2 x2s with whatever new product will do VDI over wireless or even if they did a seperate wireless just for midi over VDI. I would buy 2 immediately.
Stay in the mix and in the know.
