Variax Bass Pickguard Material

Hi,

I just love the color of the Variax Bass Pickguard and would like to have a custum one made for my Variax in the same material.

1. Is it Black Pearl or is it Silver Pearl?

2. Where would I be able to buy a blank sheat of this material?

try stewart mcdonald they have a black pearloid. its 42 bucks for an 11 1/4 x 19 1/8 sheet there most expensive you could also try all parts or the luthier section of ebay

  I have been to several sites MightyMite, Stewmac and allparts but it is very confusing. Looking at their caalogue pictures, on some sites, the black Pearl seems to resemble the color and texture of the Variax Bass pickguard and on others, the Silver Pearl. To start of I must make sure weher the color is Black Pearl or Silver Pearl. Maybe Line6 can help me on this because they will know for sure.

    check on ebay theres a sheet of peaaarloid pick guard material that looks similar for 15 bucks

Hello,

That pick guard is a plastic black pearloid. You may want to check with Warmoth if you are interested in a custom pick guard.
