Downloading tones

Just purchased/installed spider jam and pocket pod. I have  downloaded tones from custom tone but when I click to open with Line 6 monkey as the preferred program all I get is the line 6 monkey page saying that my version is up to date- I assumed I would be able to open and listen to the tone at that point? How do I get to listen to the tones on my computer?.  I have already downloaded all the software from the download page- gearbox etc. Many thanks, whitedog1951

    Hello,

This info is correct. Unfortunately the Spider Jam does not have any software downloads from customtone, but you can update the software on the unit using the SD Card.  See the following link for more info:

      Hello Andy,

I only just joined on here and i'm just wondering if there is a floor pod plus guitar tones with vyzex? or the only tones are from the pod 2 patches and relating tone patches?

also can i use other effects patches like the pro pod and xt series? thanks alan.

        Hi Rocky,

The last I heard on this the Custom Tone webmeisters were looking to add a specific zone for Floor POD Plus L6T tones, but apparently this has still not happened yet.

In the meantime (as you point out), the Vyzex Floor POD Plus editor does open POD 2.0 and PocketPOD L6T tones, so you have access to a pretty vast selection of starting points for your own creations.

        Cheers,

        Tony
