The POD X3 Live was not designed to act as a MIDI controller, so you cannot use it to control other devices unless the MIDI parameters it uses align with how the AX3000's MIDI implementation is set up.
As for panning the separate tones to different amps, you need to go into the OUTPUTS menu for each preset, then PAN the tones to opposite sides (Tone 1 - left, tone 2 - right). Then save your settings. This must be done for every preset.

What about using the AX3000G as a midi controller? It's secondry design function is a midi controller it's pretty good at it too.
