Pod Studio UX2 won't install on my mac

I just bought the Pod Studio UX2 and as soon as I try to plug it into my mac, I get the mac version of a blue screen and have to shut the computer off. I have downloaded Line 6 Monkey, Pod Farm and all the other software that came in the box and still nothing. The online manual says that I should be able to plug in the USB and then open Line 6 Monkey through Applications, but I never get that far. What is going on? I've only had the mac for a few weeks (and it's brand new) and the UX2 is new too. With no install directions in the box I don't know what else to do! Please help.
Hello,
You have an old non-compatible driver installed on your machine that is causing a kernel panic on your Mac. Please update your driver with the latest beta driver for Snow Leopard.
make sure to check the Beta check box when you search for the driver.
