how to record on the vetta

petend i dont know anything about the topic, which i dont so it wont be that hard.

 

i need to know what chord or wire to buy and where to put it. thanks

    There is a lot more to recording than plugging in a wire.

     

    But if you want to know what to connect up to then I would suggest the S/PDIF or AES/EBU out on the Vetta provided you have S/PDIF or AES/EBU input on your recording device or sound card for your DAW computer.

     

    If you don't have S/PDIF input then the next option would be ther XLR connectors on the Direct Outs, these are balanced line level outputs so it would be best if you have balanced line level inputs on your recording device or DAW.

     

    Failing that you could use the unbalance outs they use 1/4" phono connectors and you can plug those into any unbalance or balance line level input.

     

    Whatever you do, DON'T use the speaker outputs as they will blow up an input device, the current coming out of those is only good for speakers and will fry anything else.
