Instrument Input not being read in PodFarm

Hey,

So, I had been using my working UX1 for a while but recently every time I plug in the USB from the UX1 into my laptop there is no signal picked up. I have an acoustic electric guitar and it is plugged into the instrument outlet in the UX1. There is a green light on the box, so I'd assume the device is being read, and all my settings in garage band and in the sound preferences on my computer are set to have UX1 as the input and the output. I have headphones plugged into the UX1 as well, so I don't know where the problem is, but no program is picking up my guitar signal.

Thanks

Jordan

    Hello,

There are a couple of things you should check before you determine that your hardware is at fault here.

      - Reinstall your Line 6 software

      - Check all cables and make sure they are in working order

      - Set up the UX1 as your system sound card and see if you can stream audio through it via a media player IE: iTunes, WMP

      - Check that the Source Select option inside Gearbox/POD Farm is set correctly. If you are recording guitar then you should have it set to Instrument

      - make sure that all of your computer levels are turned up in Windows Control Panel>Sounds as well as in your Line 6 software.

      - Test on another computer if you can to see if the behavior changes
