Recording off Flextone II

I have a Flextone II Plus amp.  I also have M-Audio UnoSport MIDI connector that lets me connect my amp to my laptop USB.  Is there somekind of software that I can purchase to use the set up I have right now (Amp, UnoSport MIDI interface, to my laptop) to record my guitar riffs directly into my laptop?

 

Do I need to buy more hardware?

    Hello,

       

      That won't work. You can't record audio through a MIDI connection. You have 2 options.

       

      1. Plug the direct output of your Flextone into the Line Input of your computer and route it into a recording application.

       

      2. Plug the Flextone direct out into a USB or Firewire audio interface like:
