I bought the Line 6 Toneport DI about 2 years ago. I recently bought a Macbook Pro and wanted to setup it up so I could use the Tonepro with my Macbook. When I tried to install the software, it told me to restart my computer in order to complete the installation and then froze, and again told me to restart my computer. After I restarted my computer I found that nothing had installed and now whenever I plug the Toneport into my computer, it freezes and a message comes up telling me to restart my computer. I was able to install the Gearbox application, but I still can't get the Tonepro to work. What can I do to fix this, if anything?
What version of OSX are you running? I think you need to update your drivers. Go to http://line6.com/software/ asnd download and install the latest drivers for your Mac (4.6.9). That should solve your problem.
