Driver download never finishes

I've recently bought a XT Live on Ebay; it works fine. I came online and tried to download driver via Line 6 Monkey v1.27, but it never finishes. It sits at about 98-99% complete. I clicked on the Quit button, but I'm warned to Cancel because a Force Quit could make my pedal unuseable. What should I do?

 

P.S. I have not been able to register because previous owner ignored my request to free the serial # from his acct.

    Hello,

      Are you using dial up or satellite internet service?  These services are not supported by Line 6.  You may want to try downloading the software from a different computer and/or internet connection to see if this makes a difference.  Once you get to a different system, please go the following link to download/install the latest Gearbox software for your OS, which also includes the Line 6 monkey intelligent updater and the latest drivers for your Line 6 product.
