crewxp,
Take a look at the Cubase audio control preferences. Are you able to change the sample rate to your desired setting in those preferences?
The UX2 is capable of 44.1/48 kHz 16-/24-bit recording and 88.2/96 kHz ONLY with sample-rate conversion. This is not a selectable setting in the Line 6 Audio MIDI devices control panel, but in the audio preferences of your DAW (Cubase).
Also, if you are gettin popping in your audio when you set the buffer size smaller than 512 samples, it may be causing a higher load on your CPU which would result in the pops and clicks.
I can see that you are using Windows Vista 64-bit, so there is also a possibility that you are encountering problems with our driver that we are currently investigating the root cause of. We have created an announcement entitled Support Bulletin for Drivers at the announcement section at the following link for updates on this problem:

hi, it's been a little over than a month, just thought i would check in. have you guys found and fixed the bug in the ASIO software?
I noticed that Line6Perry had posted a screenshot of his settings page a few days ago, and someone had almost the exact same problem as me.

His screenshot: http://line6.com/community/servlet/JiveServlet/download/179294-10453/Screenshot.JPG

Problem: Missing a Driver Format section (To change Default Sample Rate and Default Bit Depth)
Another question: How do I activate the Sample Rate Converter? I wish to be able to use the 96KHz mode. Do you have any other guides on how to do this?

as far as i know, only the ux8 can do 24/96, not the ux1/2
not sure if that's what you are trying to do...

When I bought the product it was advertised to do so.
And in the mod's screenshot, it shows the option for 24-bit. There's no option for that on my screenshot.
