Can I plug a distortion pedal/footswitch into a Spider IV 15?

I have the Spider IV 15 amp. And I need something to help me change from "clean to "metal" quicker... Is there any way I can plug a footswitch or something into my amp? If so, what cords will I need? I don't know much about amps/effect or distortion pedals.
Thanks!
Hi
You can plug any normal stomp box effect into your Spider Iv 15W amp just by connecting your guitar to the stompbox and then the stomp box to the amp's guitar input using standard guitar leads if you wish.
Your amp is also compatible with the Line 6 FBV2 or FBV Express MkII pedals which are designed for floor based channel switching for your amp. These use a standard computer ethernet network cable (supplied) with the pedal.

Ok Thanks! So if I purchase the FBV2, will I need any other cables? I have my standard guitar cable that normally goes from my guitar to my amp.
The FBV2 is just a controller for your Spider IV - I don't have one - I have an FBV MkII express and an FBV MkII Shortboard. As far as I'm aware the FBV2 comes with and ethernet cable like its siblings
