just bought a used mk 1 fbv shortboard and someone has set it up with there sounds. I was wondering if there is a factory reset for that pedal or anyway to get it back to factory new?

    Hello,

The FBV Shortboard doesn't store anything. It simply displays what is saved on the device you have it connected to, in this case it looks like a Spider Jam?

All of the saving is done on the amplifier itself just as you would do it if the FBV was not connected. Just navigate to a hidden patch on the FBV and make the parameter changes you want on the amp and save them.

After that, each time you access that patch by way of the FBV pedal your settings will be saved.

You cannot access the 36 hidden presets on your amp without the pedal.

"when using the shortboard with the jam amp there are many more settings than the pedal can bring up. Being the pedal is limited to 38 presets.

how do i chose wich presets i want to use with the pedal but not lose any of the ones on the jam amp?? "

The FBV will access all User bank presets. If you want to access Artist or Song presets with the pedal then you need to move them to a User Bank on the amp. Again, the pedal does not save anything, it simply recalls what you have saved on your amp.

"my short board was bought used along with the spider 2 and someone had set all the names on the board to some pretty weird words, and i was wnodering if there was a factory reset that would put everytihgn back to factory settings??"

Just perform a factory reset on the amp and those names will reset back to the factory settings.
