I'm loving the Pod 2.0.... however, the sound quality when i record in Garage band is just not right.

I do get a signal, but it just doesn't sound near as crisp and alive as when i am listening thru the Pod directly... sounds muffled and flat, distorted ... any suggestions?  Is the interface unit causing my tones to go stale? I'm doing all this thru headphones...  help!
