Hi Folks

I just received a Variax 300 which I purchased from EBay, and unfortunately all is not well.  The Volume knob does not work at all - it spins freely with no start or end point, and makes no difference to the output volume of the guitar.  Aside from that it seems to work fine.

Has anyone experienced this before and found a solution? Also, does anyone know how difficult it would be to replace the potentiometer, if that's the source of the issue (as it would appear to be)?

I haven't provided feedback for the seller yet, so unless there's a quick fix I'll be looking to return it.
