Is Backtrack+Mic's input mono, or stereo?

It would have been helpful if the User Manual or Advanced User Guide actually answers this question.

 

I plugged the (stereo) headphone output of my Roland VG-99 into my Backtrack + mic. I'm only hearing one channel, not both.

BTW, the Backtrack's pretty awesome.
