Give up Dan, if the demand aint there then Line 6 will not produce it!

I raise the issue see if others will "join" their voices ... I happen to think the 'market' for such things is changing ... see the link I referenced above, as well as this recently posted question: http://line6.com/community/message/244690 -- which would be well-served by a stereo version of the XD-V line.
With 2 mic elements?

I'm not sure I understand your question ... please see the discussion referenced in the original post, which describes in more detail some possible uses of a stereo transmitter/receiver pair. I don't really see much reason for a "stereo mic" ... unless one is thinking about a duet or a bluegrass group all clustered around a single "mic stand" (in which case a stereo pair with a single transmitter might make sense ... but that's about the only use I can think of at the moment).
The desire for stereo is driven by making instruments wireless -- those which are already "stereo" in nature (dual pickup guitars, keyboards, organs, mp3 players, computers, DJ mixers, etc.)
Stay in the mix and in the know.
