I would recommend uninstalling all Line 6 software including drivers from your computer's control panel, then download and install the POD Farm 2.02 software which should install the latest POD Farm, Line 6 Monkey, and Drivers to your system.
Please remove all other USB devices from the computer (except for a mouse/keyboard on a desktop) while troubleshooting this issue. Completely remove ANY USB hubs, even if not in use, and test the GX on all of your computer's USB ports. Use different USB cables if you have to.
If the problem persists, I would recommend isolating the problem by testing with another computer.
