Riffworks Line 6 Edition Crashes??

Does riffworks has crash problems with windows vista or its a general problem? After a few minutes recording ideas, the program crashes, always. It makes an awful sound. How can I get my money back? I bought just a few days ago.

So you reinstalled all the software, optimized your system for audio, and the program is still crashing?  We need to get some information on your system. Please provide the following information from:

Re: Riffworks Line 6 Edition Crashes??

    Hello all,

I fully understand that you are wanting to get the version of the software that you own to work on the Vista, 7 or Snow Leopard OS. One major problem is that RiffWorks Line 6 edition has been discontinued. This happened a while ago and so there will not be any new updates to this version of the software. Unfortunately this is the way of the world that developers need to move forward. We are just trying to keep up with the hardware manufacturers and the OS developers. Apple no longer supports Power PCs with there new OSs and I have a bunch of hardware that wont work with Vista or 7. When things change too much we cannot just keep patching holes in old products(as much as we really want to!)

I have included a link so that you can see the differences between the Line 6 Edition and RiffWorks Standard. The most important things are:

    1. That Standard is compatible with the latest OSs on both platforms.

    2. It comes with some cool plugins the your version did not(worth over $100).

    3. It has a extra InstantDrummer yours did not come with.

    4. You can export Riffs as WAV files.

    5. You can record in 32 bit.

    6. Most importantly it is not tied to your device. This means that if you get a new input device you do not have to try and transfer the license to a new device.

We are not asking to buy the new version. We have a deal so that you can crossgrade for $30 if you have RiffWorks v2 and $60 if you have v1.
